The HANM has faced a major setback with as many as eight of the executive members of the organisation’s central body deciding to resign in protest against the ng Kharbani.

“We have no personal enmity against the president (Kharbani). But we have lost faith in his leadership,” HANM general secretary Alban K Gashnga told newsmen here on Friday.

He said they have no other option but to resign from the organisation.

While refusing to reveal details on their differences with Kharbani, Gashnga said they would not like to discuss on the details since they have all decided to resign.

“It is not proper to talk public about the internal matters of the organisation,” he said while also informing that they have ceased to be members of the organisation with immediate effect.

Besides Gashnga, the other central body members who have resign are Gilbert G Kharaswai (joint publicity secretary) Albert Marwein (sport secretary), Goldenstar Khongwar (finance secretary), Rejoice Nongsiej (disciplinary secretary), R Kharkongor (office secretary) Sen Thabah and Ency Shadap (organizing secretaries).

According to Gashnga, another eight members belonging to the various districts and circles have also resigned along with them.
