Duler: Boima Karpeh’s strike in the second half guided Sporting Clube de Goa to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Dempo in an I-League match, played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, here on Saturday.
The all-important goal came in the 49th minute when Boima Karpeh scored from a penalty, beating Dempo’s keeper Kattimanai after Narayan Das handled the ball inside the box.
The win takes Sporting Clube de Goa to third place with 21 points from 12 matches while Dempo continued their indifferent form and remained on 12 points from 12 matches. (PTI)
