SHILLONG: The Director of Sports and Youth Affairs held a send-off ceremony for five long distance runners who will participate in the Delhi Half Marathon, to be held in New Delhi on December 15.
The runners are Tommy Shylla (Jowai), Dondorlang Kharbithai (Smit, Shillong), Dising Phawa (Khliehriat), Mariwiki Shylla (Khliehriat) and Rosina Ch Momin (Tura). The contingent will be led by athletic coaches Deisy Marwein and BG Momin.
