Hunger strike enters Day 4

SHILLONG: The indefinite hunger strike of the Association of Qualified Candidates, Grade-IV-2011, East Khasi Hills entered the fourth day on Thursday.
One of the agitators, Kitborlang Khongneng was shifted by 108 Ambulance to Shillong Civil Hospital on Thursday evening after his health deteriorated.
It is learnt that the health of many of the agitators have worsened even though they are refusing to get admitted in the hospital.
When contacted, association president T Mylliempdah said that they are not going to call off their hunger strike till the Government gave an assurance that the merit list would be extended.
