Ibobi visits Hindu shrine

IMPHAL: Manipur Chief Minister  O. Ibobi Singh today visited Shri Shri Govindajee Janmasthan, Kaina in connection with the development of the complex as a tourist destination.
Speaking to the people at the complex the Chief Minister said that the complex is to be developed as a tourist destination under the fund released from the Tourism Ministry of Government of India. Assuring that all the constructions and development works will be done transparently, he added that the constructions of compound fencing, main gate and parking lot shall be taken up first and other components like tourist lodge, cafeteria, public utility facilities, solar lighting etc. are to be done later. Ibobi also expressed the need for good planning before commencing the development works for which he appealed for extending suggestions and cooperation from experts and all concerned.
