Centre’s intervention sought in land case

SHILLONG: A delegation of Shree Shree Gorkha Durga Puja Committee, Lukier road, Paltan Bazar   accompanied by Shillong MP Vincent Pala recently met the Union Minister of State for Defence Jitendra Singh in Delhi seeking his intervention for the allotment of cantonment land for the Puja Committee.
In a statement issued here, BK Rai, president of  Shree Shree Gorkha Durga Puja Committee said that the Minister assured that a plot of cantonment land measuring 25,000 square feet will be  made available to the puja committee
