Tura’s well known citizen killed in accident

TURA: Renowned citizen of Tura and a doctorate who started the first ever Maruti Suzuki workshop in Garo Hills has been killed in a tragic road accident in Boko town of Assam on Sunday night.
Owner of Maruti Suzuki Multi Mobile Precision workshop and a P.Hd. holder Dr. Obedstone Marak was killed when his red Tavera collided head on with a pik-up truck in Boko town shortly after 7 PM Sunday.
He had travelled to Guwahati with his wife to pick up his son from the LGB airport and the family was returning for the Christmas holidays when tragedy struck.
While Dr Marak was killed on the spot his wife and son sustained serious head injuries and have been taken to Guwahati Neurological Research Centre (GNRC) hospital for medical treatment.
Their family vehicle was severely smashed from the collision.
