New EAC chief
Air Marshal RK Jolly has taken over as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Air Command on January 1. He was presented with the Ceremonial Guard of Honour by Airwarriors of HQ EAC on assuming Command.
Eye camp
Free eye camp-cum-check up will be organized by the Seng Samla, Sanmer in collaboration with Bansara Eye Care Centre, Laitumkhrah under the supervision of a well known ophthalmologist on January 4 for the residents of Sanmer, Upper Shillong.
Centenary celebrations
The opening ceremony of the year long programme marking the completion of 100 years of Combined Amateur Club will be held on January 4 at 1 pm at Dorbar Hall, Mission compound.
