New Delhi: Danish top division side FC Vikings is ready to groom Indian goalkeeper Subrata Paul, who played for Rangdajied United FC last year on loan, under the guidance of its goalkeeping coach, the club said on Thursday.

The club said on its website that Paul has been selected to groom as the third goalkeeper of the Danish Superliga side.

“Subrata is a very strong reaction keeper, measuring 185 cm and is 27 years old. Basically, Paul was selected to be an extra guard against Thomas Mikkelsen and Mads V Petersen, and it is intended that he should be further developed under goalkeeper coach Claus Fallentin,” the club said.

The head coach was enthusiastic to see Paul back in the team, the club added. (PTI)
