SHILLONG: Sarong La Ka Jong (Malki) received a walkover on Friday at the Meghalaya Open Football Championship when their opponents, Three Pine FC, failed to report on time.

The afternoon match saw a 2-2 draw between Rizing FC and Bahlung FC.

Donboklang Mukhim opened the scoring (3rd minute) for Bahlung, before Rizing scored twice through Pyndor Khyllait (29th) and Evan Robert Syiemlieh (41st). D Mylliemngap equalised seven minutes later.

On Saturday, Nalarympei will play Treilang at 11:00am, while Raitong SC will face Snohlang FC at 1:30pm.
