SHILLONG: United XI defeated Riatsamthiah SCC by 59 runs in a league match of the SCA Super Division Cricket League at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Friday.
Riatsamthiah won the toss and chose to field first and United XI scored 166/8 in 40 overs. Jason Lamare made 37 runs off 52 balls with five fours while Aiborlang Wahlang took 2/20 in eight overs.
In reply, Riatsamthiah were all out for 107 in 33.5 overs. Rijied Marbaniang scored 18 runs while Jobeth Dajied Chyne took 4/18 in 7.5 overs.
Langsning CC and Madanryting CC will face off in a First Division match on Saturday at 9:00am.
