Students of Tuberkmai Shnong village awarded

JOWAI: The Khliehriat Circle Unit of Bharatiya Janata Party awarded 40 students of the Seinjait Tuber Secondary School and Nongsyntoin Upper Primary School both in Tuberkmai Shnong village.

All students from class I to class X securing positions were awarded with a certificate of appreciation, school bag, pen to each primary students while half a dozen exercise books and a dictionary along with certificate of appreciation were awarded to high school students of Seinjait Tuber Secondary school.

The District president, Denis Siangshai, chief adviser, Tejbir Singh, Khliehriat unit president, Francis Dkhar, the Rangbah Shnong, MB Sana, School headmaster, Arun Kumar beside others members of the Party attended the function held at Nongsyntoin UP School.

Aspirant candidate to the JHADC, Phasmon Dkhar of Wapungskur and Wanthmu Phawa of Tuberkmai shnong were also present on the occasion.

The party chief adviser in East Jaintia Hills, Singh briefed on the aims and objectives of the BJP while the District President lauded the students for their hard work. He also urged the students to work harder for a better result.
