SHILLONG: The HSPDP East Khasi Hills Unit on Thursday release its first list announcing the names of the party candidates for the District Council election scheduled on February 24.
Those who have been named in the list include HSPDP legislator Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit from Nongkrem, sitting MDCs – Grace Mary Kharpuri from Nongshken and Teilinia Thangkhiew from Mylliem, Pyniaid S Syiem from Sohryngkham and Samson Suting from Lyngkyrdem.
