SHILLONG: Lumdiengjri SC defeated Venom Speed by four wickets in a league match of the First Division Cricket League at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Friday.
Venom Speed won the toss and chose to bat, but were only able to make 133/8 in 35 overs. Roshan scored 30 runs, while Pynkup Bonney claimed 2/26.
Lumdiengjri reached the target with six overs to spare losing six wickets. Wallam Lyngdoh made 33 off 32 balls. Suresh took 3/18.
The next match will feature Super Division sides United XI and Royal CC at 9:00am on Saturday.
