Threat case
Police arrested five people identified as, Daphah Samati, Sakini Papiah, Hame Shadap, Paia Samati and Tony Papiah in connection with a threat case at Nongjngi village (WJH).
Girl found
On January 18, one minor girl, identified as Thi Sungoh (16) was found at IGP point, Shillong. Later, the girl was handed over to Childline, Shillong.
Forgery case
P Syiemlieh, Asst. Director, National Commission for ST Govt. of India lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on January 16, a Peon of her office viz., Deepak Pradhan forged her signature to obtain personal loan from SBI, Main Branch, Shillong.
