Programme
On account of Meghalaya Statehood Day, the Partners of Pla Iew Club in collaboration with Deputy Commissioner’s Office East Khasi Hills District are organizing a one day environment IEC event on the theme “Garbage to Gold” on January 21 from 3:00 pm onwards. The event is being organised to create awareness on indiscriminate waste disposal and highlight the need for a comprehensive waste management. The one day programme will include interaction on waste management and its alternatives, Street Play, Display of Eco products by Bethany Society, Eco games, performances by various Artist and Art installation from waste materials by students of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Shillong.
Missing

Condolence
lR & R Colony Welfare Society, convened a condolence meeting at the R & R Colony Welfare Society Office on January 17 at 7:30 p.m. to mourn the untimely death of Late Kaushik Rn Bhattacharjee, the former President of R & R Colony Welfare Society, who breathed his last on January 17. Members present in the meeting to express their grief and deep sorrow and paid their homage to the late Headman.
lThe General Secretary of Matri Sangha, R&R Colony Shekhar on behalf of the Matri Sangha has conveyed their condolences to the bereaved soul of Pranab Kumar Sen, an active member of the organization who passed away on January 18. A Condolence meeting was held at the organization premises on January 19.
