SHILLONG: Keating Road defeated Langsning SC by 59 runs in a league match of the SCA First Division Cricket League at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Tuesday.
Keating Road won the toss and, batting first, they made 212/9 in 35 overs with Leonard Wankhar making 44 off 39 balls. Michael Makdoh took 3/18 in four overs.
In reply, Langsning were hit hard by Dawa Waiba’s four wickets for 23 runs in 6.5 overs. They could only make 153 all out in 32.5 overs, with Baremdor Lyting top-scoring with 42 runs.
The next match will see Pinewood play Madanryting at 9:00am in the First Division.
