SHILLONG: The President of India has approved the award of Home Guards and Civil Defence medal for meritorious services on the occasion of Republic Day to two officers of Home Guards and Civil Defence, Meghalaya.
The two awardees are Charleston Ranee, Commandant, Central Training Institute, Civil Defence and Home Guards and Abinash Dalbot Sangma, Havildar, Border Wing Home Guards Battalion, Shillong.
