SHILLONG: The Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills has informed that the District Administration has arranged Republic Day celebration on January 26 at Madam Iewrynghep, Laitumkhrah from 11:30 am and various kinds of programmes like magic shows, cycle rally, wushu demonstration, children races will be organised on the occasion.
To celebrate the day, the district administration has also arranged free conveyance for the public who wish to attend the Republic Day celebration on January 26 at 2nd ground, Polo.
Meanwhile, Governor Dr KK Paul will also attend the tree plantation on January 26 at 8.30 am at Raj Bhavan.
