SHILLONG: Aurobindo CC defeated Malki SC by 43 runs in a league match of the Super Division on Saturday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Aurobindo made 205/7 in their alloted 40 overs. Ujjal Singh top-scored with a fine 80 runs, while Banri claimed 2/40 in eight overs.
In reply, Malki SC were hampered by wickets falling at the wrong time. They were only able to make 162 all out in 36.5 overs, with Shiv scoring 44 runs, while Abhay taking 4/23 in eight overs for Aurobindo.
In the next match, First Division teams Wahingdoh SC and Langsning SC will play at 9:00am on Monday.
