SHILLONG: The Diza’s Socio and Sports Club, Jowai, recently organised the Miss Jowai 2014 contest. Lincy Doris Challam was crowned the beauty queen, while Rimidaca Dkhar and Rosiegirl Patlong were the first and second runner-up respectively.
Other winners were Monica Andrea Khonglah (Miss Congeniality), Deiwa-E-bormi Rymbai (Miss Beautiful Skin), Sarsuk Challam (Miss Beautiful Hair), Ditiporman Tariang (Miss Talented) and Lincy Doris Challam (Miss Photogenic). The event was also filled with a range of entertainment and a fashion sequence by Jessica Shullai. Among the entertainers were the Funktroniks, Jessie Lyngdoh, K-bloodz, Knack Movement and others who enthralled the crowd with their performances.
