Peace rally
The Arunachal Students’ Union of Shillong will hold a peace rally on Sunday to express its solidarity with Nido Tani who was killed in New Delhi earlier this week. The rally will start from NEFA building (Rhino Point) at 9.30 am and would culminate at Arunachal Bhawan in Cleve Colony.
Meeting
The general body meeting of NEEPCO Retired Employees Welfare Association held at Guwahati discussed various problems faced by the retired personnel. An executive body has also been formed for the calendar year 2014&15 with Biren Borgohain as president, Padma Ram Das as general secretary and Annada Sarmah as finance secretary.
Condemnation
Shillong Socio Cultural Assamese Students Association has condemned the killing of ten local people of Assam in Bihali while hoping that such incidents do not occur in future.
