Girl dies in stone quarry

SHILLONG: In bizarre and pathetic incident a minor girl died after a boulder fell on her in a stone quarry at Thynroit , East Khasi Hills on Tuesday morning According to police, the victim Ridilish Kharumnuid (14) sustained severe injuries when a boulder fell on her. She was taken to Civil Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries
