SHILLONG: The intervention of President of India Pranab Mukherjee was sought to shift the temporary assembly at Rilbong elsewhere and also to transfer the art and culture hall to the proposed Rabindra Bhavan at the present premises.
After the matter was brought to Mukherjee by M Bisharad, the President’s Secretariat has asked the Meghalaya Chief Secretary to intimate whatever action taken to the petitioner.
