State Assembly Budget session from March 7

SHILLONG: The Budget session of the State Legislative Assembly will commence from March 7, an official source said on Thursday. The source added that the state Budget will be presented during the session, which will conclude on March 25. With the Lok Sabha polls due, several welfare measures are likely to figure in the State Budget. The Business Advisory Committee will meet shortly to decide the number of days for private members and also for Government business.
