SHILLONG: Two drug peddlers were arrested by the police on Saturday.
According to police, on Saturday, the personnel of Anti-Narcotic Task Force, East Khasi Hills District apprehended two persons, Halim Mia (20) and Lawrence Gurung (27) while they were travelling in a Maruti car (ML-05K-3047) at Fire Brigade, Laitumkhrah.
Ten syringes and four Golden tobacco containers containing 4.64 grams of heroin were seized from their possession.
