HWT Syiem yet to get Centre's letter on panel

SHILLONG: Former Meghalaya Chief Secretary HWT Syiem who was named as one of the members of the Centre-constituted panel to discuss the racial discrimination, is yet to get any official letter in this regard.
“I have been told that the Centre had already sent the letter in this regard to the Meghalaya Chief Secretary, but I am yet to receive it,” he said.
The Centre on February 5 announced the formation of the committee headed by NEC member M P Bezbaruah to look into the discrimination against the people of Northeast after the death of Arunachal student  Nido Taniam in Delhi.
