Assault
Baltimon Dhar lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on February 11 at around 5 am, her husband Albert Jyrwa, assaulted her and her minor daughter (2 yrs, 8 mnths) and also attempted to set them on fire, in their residence at Nongrimmaw, Laitumkhrah, Shillong. Police arrested the accused.
lOn February 6 at around 6 pm, Md. Dilbur Naseer along with his accomplices assaulted and threatened Hari Sarkar with dire consequences at Borsora (SWKH).
Rape
On February 9 around 11 am, a minor boy (15) raped a minor girl (6) at Mawlangren village (WKH).
