Another ‘beneficiary’ lodge complaint against JHADC chief

JOWAI: Yet another ‘beneficiary’ Sailin Pyrtuh of Sohmynting has lodged a complaint with the Jowai Police against JHADC chief M Rymbai for allegedly forging her signature, making false documents against her name.
In the complaint, she also alleged the JHADC chief withdrew Rs 15,7,500 from JHADC office as the gratuity relief in her name.
The JHADC chief has allegedly misappropriated Rs. 1.18 crore using names of people from his constituency without their knowledge.
Police has already registered a case in the connection under section 464, 468, 469, 420, 409, and 500 of IPC.
Meanwhile, the official, who is probing the case, seized some official documents from the Financial Department of the JHADC on Friday.
“We have seized some official documents which proved that he (JHADC chief) committed the crime,” a senior police officer said here.
