State unit of AAP supports Kejriwal’s resignation

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya unit of Aam Aadmi Party has extended full support to their leader Arvind Kejriwal for his stand to tender his resignation from the post of Delhi Chief Minister.

“We are proud of him that he stands firm on his commitment against corruption. The AAP will stand firm to fight against corruption in the State and will eradicate the poverty of the people in the State of Meghalaya in particular and the Country as a whole”, said Amos S Kharshiing, the State Chief Co-ordinator of AAP. According to Amos, the party is committed to work for the interest of the poor, the farmers, hawkers, the daily wage earners and the under privileged.

The party said that addressing the problems of women and the education of the poor are other priorities.
