Rangdajied U-14s beat Malki

SHILLONG: Away from the travails of the senior team, Rangdajied United brought some cheer to the club by beating Malki 4-0 in the U-14 Football Tournament on Thursday at Polo Grounds.
Shillong Lajong, also playing on the same day, were held to a 1-1 draw against Nongumlong SC.
Bornstar Myrthong (17th minute) opened the scoring for Rangdajied, while Abedino Kurbah (39th), Dawanshwa Carlos Chalam (41st) and Aiborlang Kurbah (44th) added their contributions in the second half of the 60-minute match.
Nongumlong took the lead in their encounter, scoring in the second minute through Fairlyson Marbaniang.
Nixonlang Tariang then equalised for the sub-junior Reds 10 minutes before the end of full time.
