New Delhi: A 13-year-old girl got pregnant after allegedly being raped repeatedly by her brother-in-law, who is a PhD scholar in Jawahar Lal Nehru University and lives in South Delhi’s Vasant Vihar area, police said. The accused has been arrested after a case was registered against him under POCSO Act and section 376 of IPC, they said.
The victim was sent to Delhi to stay with the accused so that she can study. She lived with him in a rented accommodation in Munirka Village area and studied in Class eight, they said. (PTI)
