Youth Club ease to victory by 7 wickets

SHILLONG: Youth Club defeated Harisabha by a comfortable margin of seven wickets in an SCA Second Division Cricket League match at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Saturday.

Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, Harisabha could only make 123/6 in their 20 overs, with Hamid Sohtun scoring 29 runs. Robin Singh took 3/15 in four overs to restrict Youth Club’s opponents.

In reply, Robin returned with the bat for a match-winning 74 off 50 deliveries, helping Youth Club to score 126/3 in 16.5 overs. Pintu Das bowled well for the losing team, taking 2/8 in two overs.

The next matches will see Eleven Star play Victoria at 8:30am, while Paltan Bazar face The Occult at noon.
