Women’s day
Meghalaya State Social Welfare Board, Shillong, will celebrate International Women’s Day at State Central Library Hall on March 8. Social Welfare Minister Deborah Marak will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Pulse polio
The office of the District Medical and Health Officer, East Khasi Hills, will conduct the national pulse polio immunization programme 2014 all over the district. The second round programme will be held on March 10 from 9 am to 4 pm in the arranged booths. It will be followed by house to house search and coverage actively on March 11-12.
VDP rally
The East Khasi Hills District Police is organising the first VDP Rally of Sohiong Circle on March 6 from 10 am at Seng Khasi L.P. School, Sohiong.
