SHILLONG: The Government has recommended the name of ex-Congress MLA Dr Adviser Pariong as the nominated member of KHADC to make it a 30-member House. An official source said that the Government sent the name of Pariong to the Meghalaya Governor for his approval. Dr Pariong had unsuccessfully contested both Assembly and district council elections from Nongstoin.
