SHILLONG: Polo XI beat The Occult by 22 runs, while Matrisanga won by five wickets over Paltan Bazar in the SCA Second Division Cricket League at Polo on Wednesday.
Polo XI won the toss and batted first, making 113/7 in their 20 overs. John top-scored with 26 runs, while Pawan took 2/17.
In reply, The Occult could only manage 97/7 in 20 overs. Moshin scored 33 runs, while John bagged 3/22.
In another low-scoring game, Paltan Bazar only made 99/9 in 20 overs after winning the toss and batting first. Robert took 3/23, while Ajit made 23 runs.
In reply, Matrisanga reached the target in 16.2 overs for the loss of five wickets. Subham scored exactly half of his team’s runs (50 off 54 balls), while Ajit claimed 2/11.
The next matchs will be in the SCA Corporate Cum Office League between Traffic Police and Sales XI at 9:00am and Raj Bhawan and 1st MLP at 12 noon.
