SHILLONG: Khliehriat Higher Secondary School and Dkhiah East Secondary School won the boys and girls titles, respectively, in the Chief Minister Football Cup for the under-12s (Khliehriat Block) at Teilang Playground on Monday.
The tournament began on March 6, according to a press release from the office of the District Sports Officer.
Khliehriat HSS beat Khliehriat Presbyterian Secondary School 2-0 in the boys final, while Dkhiah East SS defeated Iaw Pynkat UP School 2-1 in a tiebreaker in the girls title match.
James Sutnga, East Jaintia Hills Sports Association vice-president, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
