SHILLONG: High Life Management will organise the Shillong leg of the IFB Boca Juniors Football Tournament for Class 11, 12 and colleges (Inter School and Inter College) on a seven-a-side format on April 5-6 at St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School Stadium, Shillong.
There is no entry fee for this tournament.
The school students must be under 18, while there is no age limit for the college goers.
Head scout Jamshid Nassiri will select boys from this tournament to train under Boca Juniors coaches in May in Kolkata.
A shortlist of boys will then be finalised and those selected will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Argentina to train with the club and take part in competitive matches.
The winning teams from Shillong will take part in the All India Finals in April-May in Goa.
