SHILLONG: Government LP School, Mookaiaw and Lumpsand SSA UP School, Mawtyrshiah emerged victorious in the boys and girls category respectively of the U-12 Chief Minister’s Football Cup for Laskein Block level in Jowai on Thursday.
Both the teams defeated Upper Primary School, Laskein in tiebreakers in the boys’ and girls’ category respectively. While Government LP School, Mookaiaw won 3-2, Lumpsand SSA UP School won 5-0.
Laskein Area Sports Association secretary, Rancha Lyngdoh gave away prizes to the winners.
