Regional allies share KHADC portfolios

SHILLONG: KHADC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit on Friday distributed the portfolios to the various Executive Members (EMs) of the newly formed Executive Committee (EC).
Deputy CEM Teinwell Dkhar (UDP) has been assigned Development, Planning, and Arts and Cultural department, Latiplang Kharkongor (KHNAM) has been handed over Trade and Enforcement, KP Pangniang (HSPDP) has been made in charge of Elaka Administration and Revenue collection, James Ban Basaiawmoit (KHNAM) was made in charge of Labour License and Resource mobilization, LG Nongsiej (HSPDP) has been given charge of Transport, Information and Technology and Town Committee, Grace Mary Kharpuri (HSPDP) will take charge of Taxation and Education, Process T Sawkmie (KHNAM) has been given Water Resources and Fisheries, Donkupar Sumer (UDP) was made in charge of Market, Mines and Minerals, Hadrian Lyngdoh (UDP) was given Council Building and Public Health and Sanitation while Rona Khymdeit (UDP) has been given the charge of Law and Legal Matters and Marriage and Divorce.
Basaiawmoit has kept the Finance, Land, Forest, General Administration, Appointment, Posting and Transfer departments and all other departments not allotted to others.
