SHILLONG: The boys from Shillong Lajong beat Mawryngkneng SC 2-0 at Second Ground, Polo, on Saturday in an U-14 Football Tournament match, organised by the Shillong Sports Association.
The goal-scorers were Nanteiskhem Nongrum and Bebrightson SM Pdah.
The quarterfinals are being contested in a group format.
Lajong and Mawryngkneng are in Group I.
The other two teams in the group are Royal Wahingdoh and Rangdajied United, who drew 1-1 in Friday’s match.
