Nangkiew Irat march on in U-14 footy

SHILLONG: Nangkiew Irat were narrow 1-0 winners over Mawkhar in their U-14 Football Tournament quarterfinal league match, organised by the Shillong Sports Association, at Polo Grounds on Tuesday.
Samuel James Lyngdoh Kynshi’s 34th minute strike proved to be the decider.
In the three quarterfinals on Monday, Royal Wahingdoh beat Mawryngkneng 3-1, Rangdajied United squeezed past Shillong Lajong 1-0 and Mylliem defeated Smit 2-1.
Wednesday will see one match between Rangdajied and Mawryngkneng at 4:00pm at Polo Grounds.
