SHILLONG: The State Youth Wing of United Democratic Party (UDP) has shot off a letter to the Chairman of the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited complaining about the abnormal and inflated Billing.
State Youth Wing Hamlet Dohling said that even the explanation of MeECL regarding the inflated billing holds true for a few cases only.
The party urged upon the MeECL to immediately address this situation by adopting suitable interventions, which would ease the burden of those challenged by such billing, especially in the rural areas.
