PBM in fray with Rs 10,000 in hand

SHILLONG: Independent candidate in Shillong Lok Sabha seat Rev PBM Basaiawmoit has only Rs 10.000 cash in hand while his spouse has Rs 15,000.
As per the affidavit filed by him, he has two bank accounts with an amount of Rs 5,012 in Indian Overseas bank and Rs 12,000 in Bank of Baroda while his spouse has an account in SBI with a saving of Rs 25,000
Rev PBM Basaiawmoit owns a gold ring worth Rs 30,000 while his spouse owns jewelleries worth Rs 52,000 and his dependent also owns jewelleries worth Rs 60,000.
The total gross value of his movable asset is Rs 57,012 while his wife has moveable assets worth Rs 77,000 and his dependent has assets worth Rs 60,000.
Though PBM Basaiawmoit does not own land, his spouse owns a two- acre agricultural plot at Kleng Mawpat, its current market value being Rs 10 lakh.
His spouse also owns two non agricultural plots of 4 acres and 2 acres respectively at Mawpat and the current market value of these is Rs 50,00,000. Besides, his spouse also owns a 1200 sq feet residential building whose current market value is Rs 3.30 crore.
Meanwhile, CPI Candidate Richard Shabong also has Rs 10,000 cash in hand while he has Rs 5,000 in his bank account.
His dependent Siewdor Marbaniang has Rs 200,000 and Rs 1,100 in his two bank accounts
The total gross value of his moveable asset is Rs 15,000 and he also owns a residential building at Lower Mawprem whose current market value is Rs 10 lakh.
