Tek Narayan Upadhaya, a resident of Jhalupara cantonment and lecturer of Department of Nepali, BBS College, Shillong has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Nepali from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu for his thesis “Nepali Kavitko Bikasma Meghalaya ko yogdan” under the supervision of Dr Khagendra Prasad Luitel and Dr Kumar Prasad Koirala, Professor, Central Department of Nepali Kirtipur Kathmandu Nepal.
