Clamped vehicle disappears

SHILLONG: In a bizarre incident, a vehicle clamped for being stationed at a ‘no parking’ zone drove away with the clamp. The incident occurred on March 26 when an un armed branch constable Manoj Kalita clamped a vehicle (ML-05H-9369) at Lummawrie Road, Laitumkhrah for parking at no parking zone.

However, on March 27, the vehicle was missing along with the clamp. An FIR in this regard has been lodged at the Laitumkhrah police station.
