SHILLONG: In what can be termed as another case of cyber crime, a person allegedly opened an e-mail ID in the name of one Parinita Baruah.
An FIR lodged by Parinita Baruah at Shillong Sadar Police Station states that on March 27, she received several telephone calls in which the caller abused her. The caller also opened an e-mail ID in her name to tarnish her image.
She suspects that her husband Dicky Singh is involved in the act.
