One killed
Kamal Kr. Sharma lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on March 27 around 6:20 pm, three unidentified miscreants assaulted him and two labourers, Palom Narzary and Dhansingh Gurung at Wahrapasa near Kanchi Bazar, Khliehriat (EJH) and also looted their cash and cell phones. As a result, Palom Narzary died on the spot, while Dhanish Gurung sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to CHC Khliehriat and later referred to Mission Hospital, Jowai.
Assault
Banlambha Warjri lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on March 29 at about 1.30 pm, one Kabir Diddan assaulted him at Royal Heritage, Tripura Castle, Cleve Colony, Shillong. As a result, he sustained injuries and was shifted to Bethany Hospital, Shillong.
lMiss Illarita Kharbyngar lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on March 29, one Banlam Warjri and his accomplices, assaulted, abused and threatened her with dire consequences at Tripura Castle, Cleve Colony, Shillong.
lB.B Wahlang lodged a complaint at Mawlai PS that on March 22 her brother Khrawpyrkhat Wahlang threatened her with dire consequences at Mawlai Nonglum and on March 29 around 11.30 pm, he assaulted her. Police arrested the accused.
lDeepali Das Tati lodged a complaint at Dawki PS that on March 20, her husband Sindu Tati assaulted and threatened her with dire consequences in their residence at Muktapur (WJH).
Theft
On March 28, unknown miscreants stole two revolving chairs and electrical equipment valued around Rs. 35,150 from the shop of H. Kumar at Mawkhanu village (EKH).
lOn March 27 around 2.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole car tape from a vehicle (ML-05D-2520) belonging to L. Sangwan from Mawkhar, Shillong.

Obscene messages
On March 24, one girl of Lummawrie, Laitumkhrah, Shillong received obscene messages in her cell phone from one anonymous sender.
