Threat

* B. Ranee lodged a complaint at Nongpoh PS that on March 31, her husband Keral Syiem threatened her and her sister with dire consequences at Nongwah village under Patharkhmah OP (RB). Police arrested the accused.

* On March 30 around 6 pm, one Marbud Papiah created nuisance at Moobakhon village (WJH) and also threatened Listar Shylla, Thal Dkhar and six others with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.

Assault

Roybok Lyngdoh lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on March 20 afternoon Mirto Lal Das and Mindu Lal Das had assaulted and threatened Dilip Das with dire consequences near Topcem Cement factory (EJH).

Arms seizure

On March 31, police arrested one Gently Wahlang (54) from Nongwah village under Patharkhmah OP (RB), for possessing a gun without proper documents. Police have seized the gun.

Theft

* On March 31, Police arrested one Mukesh Sangma (34) in connection with theft of materials from Purbanchal Alloy Factory, Rajabagan, Ri Bhoi.

* On March 31, unknown miscreants stole a microwave and other valuable items from the godown of Amit Singhania at Dhankheti, Shillong.

* On March 20 at about 8.30 pm, Security personnel of Myntdu Leshka Hydel Electric Project (MLHEP) apprehended one Elin Suchen (40) from Suchen Colony Water Area (EJH) along with stolen materials belonging to MLHEP.

Cheating

* Bhawesh Chandra Medhi lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on February 10, 2014, one Kamlesh purchased bricks from his shop at Mawdiangdiang (EKH) and failed to pay the remaining amount of Rs.194000.

* Rishol V. Marbaniang lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on July 10, 2013, one John F. Rymbai borrowed Rs. 2 lakhs from him and failed to repay the remaining amount of Rs. 65,000.
