Clarification

With reference to the news report (The Shillong Times-April 10 under the caption Ex-Congress MP’s son in the dock for model code violation”, Waibha Kyndiah, the son of former Lok Sabha MP PR Kyndiah was wrongly named as the owner of the house at Madanrting where Congress party flag, a cut out of Sonia Gandhi and two food stalls were put up during the polls. It was in fact the residence of sitting Rajya Sabha MP Wansuk Syiem. The error is regretted.
